I've always been a strong advocate for hugging a good tree. It's therapeutic. During a morning hike in Monteverde our lovely guide encouraged us to find a tree, think about something that had been bothering us, and hug the tree. Seems silly but it stuck with me. I had been carrying an emotional weight and it felt good to name it and let it go for the day. Since I've been back, l've felt that weight ten fold, especially with recent life events. Today I took a first step for myself and decided to start therapy again. You can't carry the weight by yourself, and trees can only help so much. If you've been thinking about it, this is your sign. We had the opportunity to meet and travel with Priscilla through Costa Rica on a small group adventure of 15 people. She was a great guide and we enjoyed all aspects of our trip. We experienced some bad weather and one of our original side trips was cancelled due to unsafe conditions. Priscilla was able to put together alternate excursions for us at the last minute that were both enjoyable and safe. She is a very resourceful person and really made our trip a memorable one. We highly recommend her as a travel director.
I went to Costa Rica where I met one of the BEST travel guides ever. Pri was so thorough, fun and informative. It was such an amazing experience getting to learn a culture different from my own. The food was amazing, the scenery, hikes and locations were all thoughtfully chosen to ensure an unforgettable experience. I planned to visit the following year unfortunately with Covid things changed. I most definitely will be back and will be in contact as there is so much more in Costa Rica I would love to visit.
